Core Twist Cues


Core Twist Cues: (aka Russian Twist/Mason Twist)
- Start exercise in a sitting position: knees slightly bent with feet on floor, hands at waist, shoulders back, chest up, and core engaged.
- As you face forward you will twist through your torso and reach from hip to hip.
- Repeat the movement to the other side and return to start position for one rep.


Ideas for Exercise Uses:
- Perform as a functional exercise to work on rotation of the torso.
- Add to a core workout as a rotation and oblique exercise.
- Use as a beginner exercise when learning how rotate through your torso before adding weighted equipment.
