Downward Dog Pose Cues:
- Start exercise in a plank position: drive your hips upwards to the sky, chest toward your legs, feet shoulder width, let heels stretch toward the ground, and keep arms extended in front of you.
- Let yourself find a stretch position that you can comfortably hold.
- Hold position for allotted time.

- Perform as a stretch during your post workout cool down.
- Add to a yoga flow sequence to transition between movements.
- Use as a recovery pose after an exercise or stretch that taxes your lower back.
