Cullen Park Trail

Description: The Cullen Park Trail connects Cullen Park to Bear Creek Park with a paved path through a densely forested area. Other areas can be combined with a run inside both parks to increase the distance. Remember bug spray and breathable clothing in the high humidity of the Houston area.

Goforth Park
Location: 9118 Wheat Cross Dr, Houston, TX 77095
Parking: Abundant 
Length: Mid-Distance
Description: The trail at Goforth Park runs in a loop pattern around a body of water. The path is well maintained and is an open area making it easy to see from one end of the park to the other. There are also playground areas, fishing locations, and dog parks.

Copperfield Pavilion 
Location: 15409 Willow River Dr Houston, TX 77095
Parking: Abundant except during softball games
Length: Sprint to Long Distance
Description: The trail at Copperfield Pavilion is a short loop with various outdoor fitness stations along the way. If you want to make your workout longer you can link up with the paved paths that follow Horsepen Creek through the neighborhood.

Easton Commons Nature Park
Location: 420 Easton Commons Park Dr. Houston, TX 77095
Parking: Limited but usually space available 
Length: Sprint Distance
Description: Easton Commons Nature Park combines fitness, stations, a large playground, and beautifully kept grounds. There is also a small hill that can be used for elevation training.

The Lake of Copper Village
Location: 16441-16529 West Rd. Houston, TX 77095
Parking: Limited but some available at community center 
Length: Sprint to Mid-Distance
Description: The walking paths for the residential area of Copper Village are well maintained around a large pond fountain. The run can be lengthened by connecting to other paved paths running throughout the community.
