Jump Rope Cues


Jump Rope Cues:
- Start exercise in a standing position: feet shoulder width, core engaged, hold handles of jump rope down by your side, shoulders back, and chest up.
- Jump up and down off the ground as you bring the jump rope overhead and then under your feet.
- Count one rep for each hop over the jump rope.


Ideas for Exercise Uses:
- Perform as an explosive movement to warm-up you up before a plyometric workout.
- Add to an EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute) workout by doing a set number of jumps in a minute.
- Use as an active rest exercise between heavy strength sets to keep your heart rate elevated.
