Elevated Boat (Supported) Pose Cues:
- Start exercise in a seated position on a bench or chair: engage your core, place your hands behind you for supported, keep your shoulders back, and chest up.
- Lift your legs with knees bent off the ground until you are in a V position on top of the elevated surface.
- Remember to pull from your core and not your neck. Maintain this static position for the allotted time.
Ideas for Exercise Uses:
- Perform as a transitional exercise between yoga poses.
- Add to a core workout as a static stability exercise.
- Use as a finisher exercise after a strength workout and see how long you can maintain proper form.
